galenIQ™ 720 is an agglomerated spherical isomalt for direct compression applications.

Properties       

  • Solubility 25 g/100 g solution at 20 °C in water

  • Very low compression forces required
  • Filler and binder function – high dilution potential
  • Low and high dosage formulations
  • Slow to very fast disintegrating tablets
  • Addition of other binders is in general not required to improve tablet hardness
  • Only standard amounts of lubricants required
  • Low Mg-stearate susceptibility
Preferred Application: Tableting and Capsule Filling       

  • Low and High dosage direct compression
  • Ideal for chewable tablets and tablets requiring slow release in oral cavity
  • Oro dispersible tablets due to excellent taste
  • Use 25 % m/m to enhance the tablet hardness in your formulation
